GIF Animations

by John Barboza

Though images can add an aesthetic look to your site, it takes animations to add a level of dynamism to the same. Almost all video format’s, however, negatively affect a website’s performance significantly due to the massive amounts of time required for them to load. The excessive bandwidth they require can also prove to be a deterrent for several viewers.

Specialized outsourcing companies accepted this issue and created a remedy called GIF animations. Unlike videos, GIF animations have very tiny file sizes and are optimized for the Internet. They can portray anything a regular animation can, but use insignificant bandwidth, enabling you to add animation to your websites without degrading its performance.
